ELIGIBILITY FOR PAK ARMY

There are various courses of Pakistan Army. The applicant for the courses must be a citizen of Pakistan fulfilling for each course as follow.

⇒ Eligibility for PMA Long Course

• Education 

1. Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent with 55% marks.

or 

2. Intermediate with at least 50% marks if applicant has scored 60% marks in bachelors.

or 

3. Intermediate with 55% marks for applicant belonging to following areas:

• • • • Areas: Mansehra KP, FATA, Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Gilgit Baltistan, District Neelam Azad Jamu Kashmir, Teh, Umer Kot and Tharparker in Sindh, Dist: Rajanpur, Drawer Fort,  Cholistan desert, Mojgarh, Salamsar , Dingarh (Punjab)

4. Intermediate with 50% marks for applicant serving as Army Soldier.

  Nationality, Age & Gender

Citizen of Pakistan or permanent residents of Azad Kashmir or Gilgit Baltistan fulfilling the following are criteria:

• Intermediate have age 17-22 years
• Graduate (2 years program) having age 17-23 years
• Graduate (4 years program) having age 17-24 years.
• Serving Army Soldier having age 17-25 years

Gender: Male

Marital Status: Un-married (married serving personal of Armed over age 20 are eligible)

Minimum Height: 5 feet and 4 inches (162.5 cm)

Weight: As per Body Mass Index (BMI) 

⇒ Eligibility For Technical Cadet Course

Education

1. FSc (Pre-Eng) -Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Computer Studies with atleast 65% marks. 
2. A-Level (having English as a Compulsory subject) and passed in 5 subjects- Physics, Math’s, Chemistry/Computer Science/ Computer Studies with Grade A-C.

Note: 

• Candidate having O/A levels with required to provide equivalent certificate from IBCC.
• Candidate having 1st year cleared with 65% and appearing in exam/awaiting result of 2nd year of FSc can apply with “hope certificate”.
• Candidate having Computer Science instead of Chemistry in Intermediate can only apply for Computer Software Engineering. 

Nationality: Citizen of Pakistan or permanent residents of Azad Kashmir or Gilgit Baltistan.

Age: 17 to 21 years

Gender: Male

Marital Status: Un-married

Minimum Height: 5 feet and 4 inches (163 cm) 

Weight: As per Body Mass Index (BMI)
